At the request of the metropolis, a research team conducted a diagnostic during the winter 2014-2015 and led two workshops with elected officials and service agents of the metropolis of Montpellier and its 31 municipalities. The results of this work focus on the agricultural and food portrait of the territory, the presentation of experiences of pioneering agricultural and food policies and the reflections and possible courses of action resulting from the debates in the workshops. The workshops brought together between 40 and 50 people on two occasions. The research team presented diagnostic elements that were debated in stakeholder workshops to share reflections and formulate proposals for action.
