15 July | #AfricanCITYFOODMonth Webinar - Nourishing Our Cities
On Wednesday 15 July at 2:00 PM (CAT) the third webinar of #AfricanCITYFOODMonth campaign will present a systems perspective on ensuring adequate nutrition and food security in African cities.
Malnutrition will be the main topic of this session.
To date, this condition is undermining African economic growth in many aspects: while strongly limiting the true potential of our people, malnutrition is also hampering the implementation of a sustainable development approach in African cities.
How can food environments contribute to good nutrition?
The webinar will present experiences from African cities, University and FAO representatives with a lively discussion on the topic.
