On Thursday 17 March, the municipality of Portoviejo will host a plenary session on food governance, which will analyze the action plans of the subsystems of the Local Food System.

This session is part of the FAO technical support to subnational governments through the Urban Food Agenda, that promotes the adoption of measures that guarantee adequate food for people, and sustainable food production that helps positive changes in habits of consumption and lifestyles.
