Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries

in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication

FAO and Michigan State University designed a brief survey to seek case studies on aquatic ecosystems and associated livelihoods.

07/02/2023

FAO and Michigan State University are collaborating on the development of guidelines on enhancing livelihoods through ecosystem restoration with special emphasis on inland water and coastal ecosystems.

We are seeking case studies from various geographic regions, where the impact on aquatic ecosystems and the associated livelihoods has been considered. To that end, we have designed a brief survey, which we hope you will agree to fill out.

The case studies should not necessarily be directed specifically at restoring aquatic ecosystems, the important thing is that the impact on aquatic ecosystems and the associated livelihoods is accounted for.

It should take no more than 5 – 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept confidential.
