Fisheries dedicated session in the context of the thematic forum for the 5-year celebration of the Tenure Guidelines

To commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Governance of Tenure (VGGT), FAO, organized a technical thematic forum from 5-6 October 2017. A dedicated session on fisheries was held with the objective of exploring how the VGGT can be used in tangible terms to address some of the challenges faced in the fisheries sector, particularly when fishers are facing loss of access to land and water.
