The International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture is drawing to a close

31/12/2022

FAO wishes to thank you all for making 2022 a memorable year.

We hope that every single action taken, every single event held this year will be like a stone cast across the waters, to create many ripples in the years to come.

We look forward to continuing the work IYAFA 2022 has set in motion to keep making the voice of small-scale fishers, fish farmers and fish workers heard.

The official hybrid closing event of IYAFA2022 will be held on March 2023.

More information about the celebration will be shared soon.

We hope to see you all there!

In the meantime, keep on celebrating and share what you have done so far in the IYAFA 2022 calendar or write to us: [email protected].
