Country Focal Points
Many countries have listed water scarcity as an important issue in their Nationally Determined Contribution submissions to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). WASAG has established Chapters in Cabo Verde and Italy, and will build on these experiences to encourage additional 'National WASAG Chapters'.
In response to country needs, these chapters initiate actions (advocacy, capacity building, policies, strategies and projects) that draw on the knowledge base and expertise of WASAG at all levels.
