International Women's Day

The Rome-based Agencies will host an event for International Women’s Day 2026, contributing to the global observance of the International Year of the Woman Farmer. Women farmers from diverse regions and sectors will share their experiences and showcase innovative practices. During the event, FAO, in collaboration with Coldiretti and the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, will unveil a commemorative coin for the International Year.
