Empowering small-scale producers through equitable access to resources and services

Since its First Session in 2022, the Sub-Committee has been discussing the development of a dedicated voluntary guidance tool for the sustainable enhancement of small-scale livestock productivity. The side event, organized by FAO, will contribute to the discussions by exploring the contributions of small-scale producers to sustainable agrifood systems and the challenges they face. It will feature global, regional and national instruments and options – including from other sectors – which contributed to improving the livelihoods and resilience of small-scale producers.
