Mainstreaming gender in the African Region

H.E. Honourable Baleka Mbete, current Speaker of the Parliament of South Africa and former Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa will give a master presentation entitled “Gender the Agender”.
On 23 January 2015, Ministers of Gender and Women Affairs of African Union member states adopted a Communique on 2015 being declared by the African Union to be "The Year Of Women Empowerment and Development Towards Africa Agenda 2063".
H.E. Baleka Mbete, will conduct a discourse with interested parties to share contributions on this important topic of debate.
