“Down to earth: Finding our way through a mosaic of integrative approaches”
Managing agriculture, forestry and fisheries at a landscape scale is key to sustainability and to the livelihood of rural populations. Many teams at FAO, WFP and IFAD have developed approaches that seek to provide tools and concepts for managing landscapes in a more sustainable manner. The aim of this session is to quickly review some of the approaches developed by these teams, discuss their strengths and complementarities, and debate how they contribute.
