The 12th George McGovern lecture by Dr. Rajiv Shah is organized by the U.S. Mission to the United Nations Agencies in Rome, in collaboration with FAO. Dr. Rajiv Shah currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Chicago Council and is a Distinguished Fellow at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.

 

The George McGovern Lecture series was inaugurated by the USUN Rome Mission and FAO in 2002 to honor the legacy of George McGovern, a former Ambassador to USUN Rome (1998-2001), who made important contributions to the fight against world hunger.
