At its 42nd Session, the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) endorsed the creation of an Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) to discuss how CFS can put the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs at the center of its work.

This first meeting of the CFS Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG), open to all CFS multistakeholders, will allow participants to share their views on the objectives, scope and work of the OEWG this year, and to initiate a discussion on CFS role(s) and activity(ies) to support progress on the implementation of the SDGs falling within its mandate.
