Side event: United States Food and Drug Administration, Update on Food Safety Modernization Act Regulations (USA)

Officials from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will provide an update on the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) including:  the impetus for the Act; selected highlights of the seven new regulations; and information on implementation, outreach, and education. 

 

Participants will be given information on how to (1) access information and (2) obtain responses on questions  about the regulations.
