CFS first Open-Ended Working Group Meeting on Sustainable Development Goals

Following the endorsement in CFS 43 of a strategy for the Committee to engage with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and support countries achieve the SDGs, the Committee will be providing regular inputs to the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development on a regular basis.
In 2017, the review, under the theme “Eradicating Poverty and Promoting Prosperity in a changing world”, includes an in-depth review of SDG2. CFS will agree its contribution to the 2017 HLPF, based on guidance received from Plenary.
