Towards Better Coordination of the Pulses Sector in Italy

In follow-up of the 2016 International Year of Pulses, a coordination group developed to promote research and development of pulses in Italy.
The first national meeting of this group is organized in collaboration with FAO, 9-10 November 2017.
After the opening session by Marcela Villareal, Director, Partnerships and South-South Division, FAO, and Prof. Roberto Papa, Polytechnic University of the Marche, a roundtable will discuss the research and development of the pulses sector in Italy and be concluded by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Andrea Olivero.
