The AFWC is the is the most important continental forum to discuss policy, scientific and technical issues relating to forestry and wildlife in Africa. The 23rd Session is being held in Kinshasa from 22-26 August, hosted by the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Discussions will focus on the role of forests and wildlife in building resilience and recovery from crises and threats.
