This event seeks to raise awareness of FAO’s global initiative ‘Commit to Grow Equality’ which is aimed at enhancing gender equality and women's empowerment in agrifood systems through financing, investments and partnerships. The event will include a high-level call to action; a presentation of the initiative, participation modality and ‘Commitments Matrix’; and a panel discussion featuring experts at both global and country levels who will provide evidence and examples of best practices.
