19th Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-19) - Day 1

Delegates from contacting parties of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) will gather at the Headquarters Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) from 17-21 March 2025 for the 19th Session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-19). They will take stock of the state of global plant health and discuss ongoing initiatives, and strategies, and foster international collaboration to protect plants from the impact of pests and diseases. CPM is the main governing body of the IPPC, an international treaty created in 1951 to protect the world's plants, agricultural products, and natural resources from plant pests.
