Globally Important Agricultural systems (GIAHS) sites are home to unique biodiversity and agrobiodiversity. However, farmers face challenges as they become more integrated into the market economy – sometimes reducing the varieties of crops they grow to adapt to the market.This workshop thus seeks to foster information exchange, across regions, on the key factors and effective approaches for conserving agrobiodiversity.
