Against the background that traditional knowledge, which play important roles in many GIAHS sites, has not been well documented and scientifically analyzed, this workshop aims to share the information on traditional knowledge among stakeholders to seek better management and more effective utilization. Furthermore, the workshop also considers the ways to integrate innovative approaches and modern technologies into traditional knowledge to develop fortified knowledge systems in GIAHS sites, which finally benefits family farmers.
