Invasive ants are well known globally for their severe environmental, social and economic impact. The issue of invasive ants is becoming increasingly critical as hundreds of species are being accidentally dispersed around the world by people.
The session will demonstrate that invasive ants have incredible deleterious impacts on crops, with examples from all over the world. Existing management measures will also be presented.
