The objective of the project is to support Burkina Faso's efforts to increase access to, and use of energy services, to improve living conditions. One of the 3 project components is supporting community-based sustainable woodfuel supply management and introduce alternative household fuels to reduce pressure on forest resources and illnesses induced by indoor air pollution, with a funding of USD6.7 million.
