This Plan of Action will guide UN-Energy’s activities in the upcoming years, providing clarity, focus and expected deliverables that will enable UN-Energy to make a crucial difference by accelerating action worldwide in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.

UN-Energy is the United Nations’ mechanism for inter-agency collaboration in the field of energy. It aims to promote coherence in the UN system´s multi-disciplinary response to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement on climate change, and to enhance coordination and collaborative actions within the United Nations with regards to policy development and implementation as well as knowledge sharing in the area of energy.
