The SE4ALL Rapid Assessment and Gaps Analysis for Liberia was completed in 2013. The Action Agenda released in 2015 described the priority action areas, including energy access, renewable energy, energy efficiency, enabling actions, and the coordination for implementation. It envisages that 50% of the population would get access to improved cooking solutions and that 75% of the charcoal would be produced through efficient and sustainable methods.

The National Action Plans on Renewable Energy/ Energy Efficiency were released in 2015/2016 and Investment Prospectus released in 2017.
