The SEforALL Rapid Assessment and Gap Analysis report (country action plan) for Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) was published in 2012, the Action Agenda and Investment Prospectus were released in 2016.

The SEforALL Action Agenda explicitly mentioned the followings that are directly relevant to wood energy: a) 100% access to electricity at household level by 2022; b) Effective policies and incentives for improved cook stoves established; c) Penetration of improved cook stoves and  LPG for cooking increased by 10% per year from 2020; d) Rural energy master plan and implementation strategy to attain universal access to energy including LPG, improved cook stoves, SHS and biogas developed; e) 80 MW from wood waste from IPPs.
