The Sustainable Energy for All Initiative (SE4ALL) was launched in 2011 by the UN Secretary-General. It has now evolved into an international organization headquartered in Vienna, Austria to drive further and faster action toward the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7 and the Paris Agreement.

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) has 4 regional hubs with Hub Secretariat hosted by some regional development banks. i.e. the Africa Hub hosted by the African Development Bank (AfDB, Abidjan); the Asia-Pacific Hub at the Asian Development Bank (ADB, Manila); the Latin America & Caribbeans Regional Hub hosted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB, Washington D.C.); and the Middle East Hub by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB, Jeddah).
