The aim of this study is to inform the Activity Group 4 “Towards sustainable modern wood energy development” of the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP). The report presents several successful practices that allow for an ecologically sustainable production of wood energy, with positive impacts on the incomes of rural populations in developing countries.
