This document outlines a roadmap to foster an accelerated transition from unsustainably harvested biomass to electric cooking (eCooking) in Malawi through supply-side and demand-side interventions, coupled with enhancing the enabling environment for increasing adoption. The roadmap was developed in collaboration between the Government of Malawi, the UKAid funded Modern Cooking Services programme (MECS), Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and a cross-cutting group of key energy sector stakeholders.
