The main objective of the webinar is to present the WBF´s tool to measure and reduce carbon and water footprints of banana producing organizations and discuss digital innovations able to provide transparency and traceability of the environmental impact of banana global supply chains in compliance with the proposed EU Directive on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence. The webinar will also provide an overview on the EU´s Directive with a focus on the environmental sustainability and climate change components and discuss the challenges and opportunities for banana exporting companies.
