The Canada Place Sails of Light captivates viewers each evening, radiating vibrant colours from dusk to dawn. Situated along Vancouver's waterfront, these illuminations create a stunning celebration of color and light. The Sails of Light can be enjoyed from both the east and west sides of Canada Place, offering a picturesque spectacle.
As part of our commitment to the community, Canada Place at the Port of Vancouver is delighted to provide local charities and non-profit organizations with the opportunity to promote their causes or organizations. The Sails of Light can be illuminated in colors specifically themed to support a particular cause, helping to raise awareness and build support.
On October 16th, in honour of World Food Day, Vancouver's iconic Sails of Light will shine in a brilliant blue hue. This year, the illumination event aims to raise awareness and promote support for 2024 FAO's theme, "Right to Foods for a Better Life and a Better Future", focusing on the importance of a variety of nutritious, affordable, accessible, safe, and sustainable foods.
