For another consecutive year, Mediaplanet has joined the global call to action for World Food Day (WFD) 2024!
To help raise awareness, they will distribute a special World Food Day report with New Scientist magazine in September 2024. This report will feature insights from FAO's Right to food expert Juan Echanove, discussing innovative approaches to address food security challenges amidst climate change and rising global food demand. Other thought leaders contributing to the report come from World Economic Forum, UN World Food Programme and Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
Since 2018, Mediaplanet has promoted WFD - distributing informative material through communication channels of contributing organizations and at food industry events. They’re creating a buzz around this year’s WFD theme “Right to foods for a better life and a better future”.
