世界环境日

05/06/2016

World Environment Day (WED) is the United Nations’ most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since it began in 1974, it has grown to become a global platform for public outreach that is widely celebrated in over 100 countries.

We are calling on people to take action against the Illegal Trade in Wildlife and go "Wild for Life".

This year's celebration for Sunday June 5, will call on people to use their sphere of influence to stop the trade, and take part in a fun quiz to find their spirit animal they'll pledge to act on. The tag line is, wildlife crime just got personal, give your name to change the game and we are hoping that thousands of people will run at this.

We launched the campaign last week at UN Environment Assembly and have already had 25 Government Ministers supporting the campaign and also major celebrities including Gisele, Neymar, Yaya Toure, Li Bingbing and many others selecting their spirit animal and calling on others to engage. This has gone down brilliantly on social media with thousands of people engaging in this.
