China’s average annual growth in aquaculture production is 3.46 % between 2015 and 2021. Of all the protein sources, fishmeal is reckoned to be the preferred protein source for feeds of aquatic and land animals because of the balanced amino acid profile, phospholipids and favorable fatty acids composition, good feed palatability and easy digestibility and absorption. Fish oil in feed is primarily responsible for providing fat to fish.
