Let's celebrate Spanish Language Day!

22/04/2024

FAO produces a significant volume of publications across various languages and regions, reflecting the Organization's commitment to linguistic diversity and inclusivity. Spanish publications account for a significant portion of the Organization's overall editorial output. This demonstrates FAO's commitment to reaching Spanish-speaking regions and communities, ensuring that valuable information and resources are accessible in this language.

Spanish-language materials play a crucial role in facilitating communication, knowledge exchange, and collaboration within Spanish-speaking countries and regions, contributing significantly to FAO's mission of achieving sustainable agrifood systems for all.

As we celebrate Spanish Language Day, browse through FAO's publications page in Spanish, and follow @FAOenespañol and @FAOAméricas where we regularly feature updates, articles and books in Spanish.

Did you know? Spanish Language Day coincides with World Book and Copyright Day - an additional opportunity to showcase the wealth of resources FAO offers across all the six UN official languages, including Spanish.
