International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC)

The International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC) is the international reference classification of productive activities. In use since 1948, ISIC is now used by the majority of countries around the world as their national activity classification. Sometimes, countries develop their national schemes to classify activities, based on ISIC.
