Regional workshop on FAO–Türkiye Partnership Programmes

Baku, Azerbaijan,The FAO–Türkiye partnership programmes consist of the FAO–Türkiye Partnership Programme on Food and Agriculture and the FAO–Türkiye Forestry Partnership Programme. Their objective is to enhance food security and rural poverty reduction and strengthen capacities by sharing technical expertise in forestry, natural resources, desertification, and sustainable development in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, and other countries of mutual interest to FAO and Türkiye.

The regional workshop aims to increase awareness among partner countries and various relevant audiences about the programmes, their objectives, activities, and accomplishments. Keynote sessions and high-level panel discussions will help identify priority issues in the partner countries related to food systems, natural resources, capacity building, and sustainable development. Partner countries and relevant actors have been cordially invited to present their priorities, accomplishments, ongoing activities, and lessons learned in the field of development.
