The Consultancy was carried out with the cooperation of the Director and Technical Staff of the Wuxi Centre, in accordance with document ADCP/REP/81/15 “Outline Research Programmes for the Regional Aquaculture Lead Centres in Asia Part III”.

The terms of reference of the Consultancy were as follows:
The consultant will in close cooperation with the Director and technical staff of the Centre:
design the format and procedures for the collection of existing data on integrated farming operations in different parts of China and elsewhere as described in Section 5.1 (page 13) of ADCP/REP/81/15 “Outline Research Programmes for the Regional Aquaculture Lead Centres in Asia - Part III”.
prepare and if possible deliver lectures covering Section 4 “Utilization of animal and plant wastes” of the Curriculum for Training in Integrated Farming at the Centre (ADCP/Circ/80/3).
and
advise and assist in initiating feasible preliminary tank and yard-scale experiments outlined in the research programme referred to in (i) above.
