(75) As proposed by the Director FRI, a strong Public relations unit should be created, with highly qualified personnel. This unit will work in close co-operation with the other units of the Co-ordination Division, but its specific duties will include:
(76) The SSO (Public relations) should be attached to the Director and be responsible for the overall business of the unit. He will be assisted by an SO (PR)/Protocol officer. A steno-typist will be employed for the preparation and circulation of press releases, and other correspondence. The Protocol officer (SO - PR) will attend and guide the visitors from various organizations, who can be expected in rather large numbers at HQ and FARS. At the other stations an SO should be made in charge of protocol, in addition to his usual duties.
