On behalf of my government, I wish to thank NACA for inviting an observer from Burma to this Meeting. Being a country with extensive marine fishery as well as inland resources for fishery development, we are interested in developments in aquaculture and the programmes of the Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia. However, being of an observer status, I regret my inability to define my government's position at this stage.
