��SOUTH AFRICA

The final official estimate of the main maize crop in 2004 has been revised upwards to 8.9 million tonnes, and those of sorghum to336�000tonnes. In aggregate, the coarse grain crop is slightly below average. Consequently, export availability of maize is reduced.
