SOUTH AFRICA

The final official estimate of the main maize crop in 2004 has been revised upwards to 9.7 million tonnes, and those of sorghum to373�000tonnes. In aggregate, the coarse grain crop is slightly above average. Consequently, export availability of maize is reduced.
