SWAZILAND

The FAO estimated 2004 cereal production of 65�000 tonnes is 12 percent below last year�s crop but about 30 percent below the average level. Domestic production normally meets little more than one third of the country�s total cereal requirements. Cereal import requirements for 2004/05 marketing year have increased to 132�000 tonnes, including 32�000 tonnes of food aid.
