Russian Federation and Japan of 1984 renewed in 1995
Reciprocal non-fee quotas will remain at 100 000 mt. for both countries; the Japanese fee-based quota was set at 18 000t. for which Japan will pay Russia $7.2 million.

on salmon catch quotas in Russia's EEZ renewed March 1995
- Quotas for Japanese vessels remains the same as in 1994 = 14 000 m.t. on an overall quota of 19 123 m.t.

Note: Norway and Russia agreed on fishing quotas in Barent Sea; Each has a cod quota of 286 000t. in open waters and 40 000t. in their own coastal waters.
Haddock quotas were set at 61 000t. each; Russian vessels in Norwegian waters are 150 000t. for cod and 25 000t. for haddock.
