METHODS OF ANALYSIS FOR PROCESSED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES[22] (Agenda Item 8)

70. Mr. Richard Peterson (USA) presented a report of the ad hoc Working Group[23] on methods of analysis. The Working Group had revised the list of methods, to be referenced in the standards for processed fruits and vegetables, based on information currently available to the Committee. The Committee agreed to circulate separately the revised list along with additional information provided by the Working Group for comments by governments and interested international organizations. It was agreed that the revised list would be considered by the Committee at its next session in light of comments received before being submitted to the Codex Committee on Methods of Sampling and Analysis for endorsement.
