A training schedule for each province was developed in conjunction with the respective technical officers including the Provincial Irrigation engineers based on the experience gained during the Technical Staff Training 1. The training schedules for each province are indicated in Annex 2. Training materials that I prepared included notes on improved vegetables practices, reprints and slides. It was emphasized at the onset that the schedule was a flexible nature and changes could be introduced as EST1 progressed. A summary of the actual topics that were covered are as follows:-
