7 What aspect of training would you desire to improve? The most important issues brought out were:

· More practical time on management of specific crops cabbage, rape, onion, melons, pumpkins, paprika.

· Practical identification of pests and diseases and management.

· Physical identification of soils, fertiliser (organic and inorganic fertilisers)

· Planning a vegetable garden.

· More practicals on irrigation techniques.

Altogether, there were 99 camp/block extension officers trained in five provinces. There were 80 males and 19 females who participated. The participants found the horticulture training to be good, adequate and comprehensive. The consultant was satisfied that the training has addressed the objectives of the target group and had sufficient hand on practical for the extension officers. It would be useful to include the suggested topics by the extension officers in order to improve the next Extension Staff Training two (EST2).
