41. The report of the Consulation was adopted on 30 June 2000.

Participants from African countries expressed their appreciation to the organizers of the Consultation and its sponsors, for the opportunity offered to participate in the meeting, noting that they had found the information provided on CITES activities and its potential linkages to fisheries most valuable.
