PROPOSED DRAFT GUIDELINES FOR PACKING MEDIA FOR CANNED FRUITS (Agenda Item 6b)[21]

38. The Committee was informed that the 19th Session of the CCPFV agreed to circulate the proposed draft Guidelines for Packing Media for Canned Fruits at Step 3 for comment and consideration at its current meeting.[22] The proposal was approved as new work by the 45th Session of the Executive Committee (see para. 7).

39. The Committee agreed with the provisions of the proposed draft Guidelines for Packing Media for Canned Fruits as presented in document CX/PFV 00/6 with the following changes:

40. The Committee forwarded the proposed draft Guidelines for Packing Media for Canned Fruits to the 24th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission for preliminary adoption at Step 5 (see Appendix VIII).
