52. The Committee unanimously elected Mr Michael Sissenwine as Chairperson. The Committee agreed to elect the First and Second Vice-Chairpersons at its fourth session.
53. The Committee agreed to hold its fourth session in autumn 2002 at FAO Headquarters in Rome. The exact date would be determined by the Director-General of FAO in consultation with the Chairperson.
54. The Committee expressed thanks to the staff of the Fisheries Department for its role in making the meeting a success.
55. The report was adopted on 8 December 2000.
